One of the long series of repetitive papers re-presenting the well
known solutions of some exactly solvable ordinary differential
Schroedinger equations. Another not too difficult sophomore-level
exercise in Gauss' hypergeometric functions using the elegant
change-of-variables trick found in the Nikiforov's and Uvarov's
1988 monograph on special functions.
